Dr. James Ward, DMD of Pottstown Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
Dr. Ward obtained his B.S. degree from Ursinus College in 2000 and his DMD degree from Temple University School of Dentistry in 2004. While at Temple, Dr. Ward received several awards including the Howard Carson award for excellence in oral surgery and the Martin N. Kravitz D.D.S. Class of 1944 award for clinical excellence.
Dr. Ward completed his training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Temple Hospital from 2004 to 2008 and served as chief resident from 2007-2008. He is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is a member of local, regional and national oral surgery and dental associations including:
American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, American Dental Society of Anesthesia, American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Delaware Valley Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Pottstown Dental Study Club

Dr. Ward has authored several chapters in renowned oral surgery, cosmetic surgery and, implant textbooks and has lectured on both the national and local levels.
Dr. Ward’s special interests include, dental implants, facial trauma and reconstructive surgery, oral pathology and orthognathic surgery. Dr. Ward is married with three children and enjoys athletics, coaching and local events.
